Barwon Heads Bridge – ‘raw umber’

A gorgeous array of subtle browns with a raw natural umber feel. While quite neutral at first, upon further inspection the varying shades begin to emerge, inconspicuously flowing across the floor. Coupled with subtle iron markings from the original bridge bolts, the timbers are effortlessly rustic without having to announce themselves. If the Princes Pier or Queensland Bridge timbers were a cello, the Barwon Heads Bridge timbers would be a viola; not as low, deep, or focused, but just as seductive and able to play a broader range, with a style suitable anywhere.
